Note for K24 Engines:
For K24Z7 engines—or any K24 with the larger oil pump housing—some main studs must be shortened to ensure proper fitment of the oil pump. Please refer to the provided photos for guidance. You may modify the studs yourself or select the option above to have us perform the modification for you.

Why Use ARP Main Studs?
ARP main studs help eliminate main cap walk and protect the block’s threads. Compared to main bolts, studs offer several advantages:

More accurate torque readings – Because studs do not rotate during tightening, the torque reading is more precise.

Better thread protection – Studs place less stress on block threads, extending the life of the engine block.

Improved alignment and assembly – Studs aid in correctly positioning the main caps and make engine assembly easier.

ARP strongly recommends using main studs over bolts whenever possible for these reasons.
